2024 Chevy Blazer EV restarting sales after a software-led stop

GM on Friday announced that it is restarting the sales of its Chevy Blazer electric vehicle (EV) in the U.S. which was halted due to software issues.

Along with this sale resume, the company is now offering a new price tag for the customers who purchase this EV.

The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV now starts at $50,195 which is $6,520 down from an earlier price tag in August. This price will decrease further with a $7,500 Federal tax credit to $42,695.

The issue detected in the car’s charging and software interface has caused a major problem among customers. Eventually, GM has to announce a stop sales for this EV.

In the meantime, the company dedicated some efforts to apply fixes and bring this car back to sales.

GM said that the processes to fix the Blazer EV have helped the company to improve the software quality validation for its future electric vehicles.
