Rivian R2 final teaser

Rivian today shared the final teaser of the Rivian R2 electric vehicle and it has some sneak peek at its top design which will be unveiled officially tomorrow.

This final teaser shows that the upper body of the Rivian R2 is largely inspired by the Rivian R1s, especially its full-size SUV range. The black top and white color body create a good combination. Of course, there will be new color paints available for the buyers when the vehicle gets announced by the company.

Combined with previous teasers, the car has a full-width LED bar on the front and two stadium-like headlights featuring low and high beams. The front will reflect the marquee Rivian aesthetics from R1T and R1s.

Similarly, the rear side has a full-width taillight with a split design for a tailgate.

The specifications leak suggests that the height and the width of this vehicle are reduced compared to the other two Rivian vehicles.

Previous information also indicates that the car will start at $47,000 in the U.S. and the production is focused on achieving the U.S. Federal subsidies of $7,500.

With this addition, the price would be down below or around $40,000 with 330 miles of driving range. The company has been looking to achieve this milestone as the previous two models can’t make it up to the full federal tax credit due to their high price.

These are just a few information about the next Rivian vehicle and there’s more that it coming tomorrow. Rivian R2’s launch will be livestreamed online on social media site X and you can tune in at 10:00 am PST on March 7.
