Electric Dodge Charger Daytona launches with 317 miles range, 350 kW charging support and more

Dodge today launched its Dodge Charger Daytona electric based on the Stellantis STLA Large battery electric vehicle (BEV) native platform. The system has a high-voltage battery pack, a dual-integrated charge module, and front and rear electric drive modules.

It packs a 100.5 kW battery pack and a peak discharge rate of 550 kW with a prismatic battery cell structure. It packs a customized regenerative braking system to convert the vehicle’s kinetic energy into electricity during deceleration to increase range.

The car features center caps with the Fratzog logo including 18 by 8-inch wheels as standard for Daytona R/T and 20-by-11-inch Satin Carbon wheels for Daytona Scat Pack. It also has a wheel option of 20-by-10-ince black noise wheels with a blacktop package and 20 -by-11/11.5-inch luster wheels with a track package.

The new Dodge Charger comes in eight color paints including After Dark, Bludicrous, Destroyer Grey, Diamond Black, Peel Out, Redeye, Triple Nickel, and White Knuckle.

The Dodge Charger Daytona R/T is expected to bring 317 miles of driving range and its performance version at 260 miles. The company will offer level 2 wall charger or public charger credits via Free2move charger as well as a 360-degree ecosystem by Stellantis.

It supports Level 3 DC CCS fast charging to take 20 to 80% battery level in 27 minutes. The estimated charging capacity for Daytona R/T is 9.9 miles per minute and 8.1 miles per minute for Daytona Scat pack using a 350 kW fast charging.

The price of the electric Dodge Charger Daytona is unconfirmed at the moment.
