xAI Grok 1.5 update may launch in a few weeks
Grok 1.5 LLM update may be coming in a few weeks with a new language processing capability confirms the xAI Founder Elon Musk on Friday.
Musk said that the text-to-text model will bring new capabilities for summarizing extensive threads on the social media site X, previously known as Twitter.
Launched in November, Grok is the first Large Language Model (LLM) released by xAI, a company founded by billionaire Elon Musk in the same year.
Grok is based on the Grok-1 engine which now has an additional four months of training in testers and early access environment. Grok remains limited to X users and it requires a Premium+ $16 subscription.
The early prototype of the Grok-0 was trained with 33 billion parameters. xAI in a release post said that the Grok-1 is 63.2 percent more powerful on the HumanEval coding task and 73 percent on MMLU.
Grok 1.5 would be the next upgrade in this development roadmap and there could be more of the features that may arrive.
