March 1, 2024, at 06:54 EST: Tesla has increased $1,000 back on RWD and Long Range versions of Tesla Model Y at previous purchase prices of $43,990 and $48,990 respectively. This price with an added $7,500 Federal tax credit takes it down to $36,490 and $41,490 for these two models.
February 29, 2024, at 12:28 EST: It’s the last day to order a Tesla Model Y with a $1000 limited-time discount which was announced earlier this month for customers across the U.S. The prices will increase by $1000 or more by March 1, 2024.
After this discount, the price for the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and Long Range Model Y was reduced to $42,990 and $47,990 purchase price. The prices are down further with a $7,500 Federal tax credit.
After credit, the RWD and Long Range version declines to $35,490 and $40,490 respectively. The Performance version stays at $44,990. The federal subsidies will be available for the point of sale compared to the previous year-end tax filing.
So if you want to buy the Model Y this near this month at the lowest price tag, it’s the last day to get it. Since the carmaker keeps on adjusting price tags for its vehicles, you may have further changes in the near future.
