Lucid Air gets ‘Creature Comfort Mode’ feature update 

Lucid today launched the new “Creature Comfort Mode” for Lucid Air electric vehicle (EV) through an over-the-air (OTA) software update designed for pets.

The new feature allows you to set and maintain the cabin’s temperature for your pet’s comfort while you are doing your business outside of the car.

This feature could be accessed via the one-touch paw-themed Creature Comfort Mode icon on the Lucid Air Pilot Panel touchscreen.

Once activated, the vehicle turns the entire 34-inch cockpit display into an information bar that shows “Creature Comfort Mode On” and a message “My person will be back soon” as well as temperature.

This information about temperature will be updated through the user’s mobile app with the real-time status of the cabin.

The feature automatically disengages power windows and pedals to prevent any unauthorized access to the cabin or letting the pet perform magic tricks.

The mode disengages when the user opens the driver’s door. To be mentioned, the feature will remain engaged until the battery is at 1 percent (4-5 miles) of the remaining.
