Apple Vision Pro 2 will bring a slightly cheap version: Kuo

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that the Apple Vision Pro 2 will come with a slightly cheap price version with reduced specifications.

Kuo predicts that the Vision Pro 2 brings two options including a lower-priced version with downgraded hardware specifications with sliced cameras, removal of EyeSight, and more. While the company will keep on releasing a high-end version.

Apple Vision Pro 2 projects could enter mass production in the fourth quarter between 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. These new Vision products will focus on the efficiency of production and supply chain for robust product out.

Price reduction would still be a major spotlight for the entry-level variant but the user experience may not vary much compared to the top model.

This discussion comes amid the company is taking Vision Pro’s consumers to improve the next generation of products. But the new changes in Vision Pro could only appear after 2027.

Kuo also revealed that Vision Pro is still achieving higher ground in its initial sales graph. The company has improved the shipping time compared to the pre-orders.

Throughout this year, the company expected to sell between 200,000 to 250,000 units. This estimate has been increased from the previous 150,000 to 200,000 units.

Apple Vision Pro is currently only available in the U.S. and changes in its software are underway to meet a global launch.
