MG launches MG3 Hybrid hatchback in Europe

MG today launched the MG3 advanced hybrid B-segment hatchback for European customers featuring a 1.83kWh battery and a new 100 kilowatts electric motor.

MG3 comes with the following drive modes in a combination of Hybrid+ systems:

  • EV – which is electric-only mode
  • Series – engine runs through to the generator
  • Series and Charge – series driving with charging battery with low-load
  • Drive and Charge – The engine drives the wheel and also charges the battery through the generator
  • Parallel – Both engine and electric motor power the wheels

This new car is equipped with three specifications including Standard, Comfort, and Luxury. These models have a 7-inch instrument screen and a 10.25-inch central infotainment system.

It supports satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto integration. MG3 iSMART brings improved connectivity with connected devices.

Other features of the car include air conditioning, a six-speaker audio system with Bluetooth connection, four USB ports, rear parking sensors, and a camera. It has front seats and a steering wheel.

MG3 also offers the Advanced Driver Assitance System (ADAS) and increases safety through MG Pilot technology.

This new vehicle will come in seven schemes in the European market: Pebble Black, Dover White, Cosmic Silver, Pastel Yellow, Diamond Red, Hampstead Grey, and Como Blue.
