Apple has been exploring new smart wearables including Smart Glasses, Smart Ring, and Airpods with camera systems, says Mark Gurman from Bloomberg.

Apple’s ring concept is focused on health and fitness. The internal discussion suggests that this device aims at consumers looking for a smart wearable without apps and phone call capability.

It falls under the low-cost device category and collects health vitals with built-in sensors. Apple’s rival Samsung is also developing a smart ring which will come later this year.

Smart Glasses:

Apple has already released a high-priced Vision Pro but there’s space for a new smart wearable in the less expensive price range.

It is an AirPods replacement featuring a big battery capacity, several sensors, and AI features. These types of devices usually come with microphones and speakers, so that users don’t have to connect additional accessories.

Airpods with Camera:

The company is experimenting with some changes in this wearable featuring a camera. Not only cameras but new AI features and sensors to support a smart user experience. This concept could also surpass the requirements for a smart glass.

Started last year, this Airpods project is codenamed B798, and people involved are finding ways to put a resolution camera in the ear-sized AirPods. The camera would allow the device to keep track of surroundings and process that information in the ears.

Despite featuring interesting technologies, none of these products have made their way to the production line.
