Tesla FSD Beta V12.3 will bring important fixes, says CEO
Tesla CEO, Elon Musk said that the the latest navigational issues found in FSD V12.2.1 will be addressed with FSD Beta v12.3.
A few days ago, Tesla released FSD Beta v12.2.1 for employees and a limited number of public testers. There is no official changelog available for this incremental release but it is said to have received more than just a few public beta testers.
The latest reply from the Tesla chief comes on videos posted by X user @CdotSwish about the FSD 12.2.1 tested. Throughout these separate clips, the user praised the FSD beta and its more natural driving experience.
Tesla says that the FSD Beta version 12 removes all of the manually written code and switches to an end-to-end neural network trained with millions of video clips. The actions taken by the car are no longer supervised by the manual code and it routes the car on its learnings from the trained data.
Early hands-on of FSD 12 reveals that the software is improved compared to FSD version 11 and it appears in action.
FSD 12.2.1 in action. 45 minute drive with 0 intervention. Still some moments of confusion but nothing deal breaking. Overall drive was super smooth and human like, so many improvements from v11. This version can definitely take you from point A to point B. Down below are some… pic.twitter.com/63pek0cDA8

Confusion:
The user also showed how FSD at a point missed the navigation and took an alternative route. “Still some moments of confusion,” the user wrote on X social media.
The company has currently released a 12.2.1 update and we’ll have to wait until the new update comes for the FSD Beta testers.
Natural speed change:
Other things noticed in the clips show how the acceleration is managed by FSD when the road is empty and there’s no major traffic. Also, the vehicle accelerated and decelerated pretty quickly, while maintaining smooth stops.
Aside from these, numerous changes and improvements may head our way with the next FSD Beta rollout.
