Volkswagen releases ID.7 Tourer with upto 685 km range, improved luggage space and more

Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer

Volkswagen today released the ID.7 Tourer mid-sized all-electric car for the European market. It has a new electric drive system and two battery sizes with a WLTP range that goes up to 685 kilometers.

The battery supports a maximum of 200kW DC fast charging and it can recharge up to 80 percent battery within 30 minutes.

ID.7 brings a lot of space behind its rear five-seater arrangement with a luggage capacity of up to 605 liters. This capacity increases up to 1,714 liters with backrests of the front seats and up to the roof.

This new car is announced with a new augmented reality (AR) head-up display as standard. The car has introduced automatic vents that could operate by small control motors and ergoActive seats with a new pressure-point massage feature and automatic air conditioning.

It equips a new panoramic sunroof with smart glass which can switch between opaque and clear modes.

The addition to the Well In-Car app also leads into this car, enabling customers to adjust different in-vehicle features. Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer is set to sale later this year in Europe and the prices are not yet announced.
