22 Starlink satellites mission to liftoff from California (February 14, 2024)
SpaceX is sending a new rocket mission to low-Earth orbit on Wednesday, February 14 with 22 Starlink satellites to expand its internet constellation.
The mission will launch at 5:54 p.m. PT and there’s a backup launch opportunity available on February 15 at 1:34 p.m. PT. The payload will liftoff using a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
There are three launches planned for February 14th and this mission is one of them. SpaceX will start the date with Intuitive Machines IM-1 mission into a lunar transfer orbit after midnight in the night. The mission carries technology payloads for the Moon’s surface as part of NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS).
An hour before, SpaceX will release a secret USSF-124 mission to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The launch of 22 new Starlink satellites is sponsored by a fresh first stage that will complete its second mission. The booster will land on a droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean after stage separation.
