Stellantis today announced the adoption of the North American Charging Stanard (NACS) connector for battery-electric vehicle (BEV) models launching in 2025.

Unlike other brands that adopted the NACS charging connector, Stellantis maintained its discrete behavior over the name. It only mentioned the connector as “SAE J3400”. SAE’s official website mentioned the J3400 as the North American Charging System (NACS).
