Blink Charging will install 20 EV chargers in Frederick, Maryland

Blink Charging on Thursday that it will install 20 IQ 200 electric vehicle (EV) chargers across four downtown parking garages in the City of Frederick, Maryland. These chargers will be used by residents and visitors to utilize.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will mark the installation of chargers on February 8, 2024, from 11:00 to 12:00 EST at the East All Saints parking Garage located at 125 E All Saints St. in downtown Frederick.

These 20 charging stations will be installed across four parking garages:

  • East All Saints
  • Carrol Creek
  • Court Street
  • West Patrick

These garages are located near retail, dining, and residential areas within the City of Frederick. The collaboration between Blink Charging and the City of Frederick plans to complete the charging requirements of residents and visitors in the city.

The City of Frederick Department of Economic Development is the proprietor and operator of all four parking garage locations. Moreover, It will also launch membership options for residents to secure charging spots and charge vehicles at convenience.

Blink previously deployed Level 2 (L2) charging stations in Frederick across six hotel locations in Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland.

This electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment maker has sold and deployed around 85,000 charging ports around the globe.
