Tesla collabs with N1 to reach 29 charging sites in Iceland

Electric vehicle (EV) maker Tesla today announced its collaboration with native EV charging services provider N1 to expand its existing 9 Supercharger network to 29 customers in Iceland.

“We’re expanding the Supercharger network in Iceland by 20 sites in collaboration with N1, taking the total to 29 locations,” Tesla wrote on social media X.

The addition of 20 new chargers will improve the charging experience for Tesla owners. However, the company plans to take its number of chargers to 200 stalls over the next few years in Iceland.

N1 is a leading Icelandic retail and service company that operates a network of 95 gas stations and convenience stores around the country. These stores offer EV charging facilities.

N1 has different charging options including AC and DC chargers. The N1 fast charging options are available at the following locations:

  • N1 Egilsstaður
  • N1 Háholti
  • N1 Hvolsvelli
  • N1 Ísafirði
  • N1 Kirkjubæjarklaustri
  • N1 Sauðárkróki

Earlier this year, Tesla announced that it was the most-sold vehicle brand in Iceland for 2023 in all segments.
