SpaceX Dragon Spacecraft Undocking from International Space Station with Ax-3 crew

SpaceX and NASA today conducted the undocking of the Dragon spacecraft from the International Space Station (ISS) carrying the Ax-3 mission crew.

On its way to Earth, Dragon will host four Ax-3 astronauts who flew to the space station via Falcon 9 rocket on January 18 from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Following the separation from the space station, the spacecraft will now perform three departure burns to move away and enter Earth’s atmosphere. It is set to splashdown off the coast of Florida approximately 47.5 hours later on Friday, February 9.
