Tesla Cybertruck gets OTA update with ride and charging improvements

Tesla is pushing a new over-the-air (OTA) software update for the Cybertruck electric pick-up truck which comes with several new additions as well as ride and charging improvements.

The latest software update for Tesla Cybertruck has build version 2024.2.3 and features that were installed with the 2023 Holiday Update. The new improvements could optimize the Cybertruck experience.

After a long delay since the announcement, the company delivering Cybertrucks to customers. With this upgrade, the vehicle could adjust the power level of each DC charging station. The charging improvement will increase the efficiency of the charging and battery pack.

Next comes the improved ride and handling, Cybertruck’s Custom Ride and Handling will generate a consistent response on different roads and surfaces with improved comfort when the mode is set to “Focused”. The “Off-Road Mode” could also reduce pitch and body roll during the ride.

You can choose the drive mode under “Dynamics” by going into vehicle settings. Aside from these changes, the update will add other features including the following:

  • Custom Lock Sounds
  • Reminder to Plug In At Home
  • Apple Podcasts
  • Automatic 911 Calls
  • More Cameras in Live View
  • Automatic Blind Spot Camera Red Shading
  • Trip Planner for Mobile App
