Rocket Lab launches four SSA observation satellites through Electron rocket
Rocket Lab on Wednesday launched four SSA observation satellites into low-earth orbit from Sphire Global Inc. and its customer North Star Earth and Space. The vehicle was launched from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 in New Zealand.
Following the first stage of separation, it splashed down in the sea and was recovered by a ship. On the other hand, the payload has been deployed within an hour of the mission timeline.

Before January 31, the rocket transportation company has been pushing the liftoff due to different reasons including weather conditions. However, it finally conducted the launch today.
The payload consisted of four Space Situational Awareness (SSA) satellites for Spire Global and built by the company to monitor all near-Earth orbits from space.
The success in this mission will further cement Rocket Lab’s confidence in sending more customer payloads to orbit.
