Tesla releases 4.29 app update with new key cards and phone security

Tesla App 4.29 update

Tesla today released a new 4.29 app version for iOS users and it brings additions to improve the security of your Tesla vehicle. Frequently, the electric vehicle (EV) car company pushes new changes to provide a better user experience.

Based on the changelog, the 4.29.0 Tesla app version adds new key cards under Security & Drivers.

The update also aims to increase the security of the Phone Key against unwanted vehicle access by granting Motion & Fitness permission.

Tesla 4.28.x series app introduced a multi-stop trip planner for mobile devices and the ability to share it on Tesla’s infotainment system. The company pushed three versions to the 4.28 series but all of them added and improved the multi-stop trip and other features.
