Apple Vision Pro starts pre-orders and here’s what you need to know
Apple today began taking pre-orders for its Vision Pro mixed reality headset, a spatial computer dubbed by its maker. It’s nationwide availability is set for February 2, 2024.
First up the pricing, Apple Vision Pro prices at $3,499 or $291.58 per month for 12 months.
To pre-order, you need two things:
- An iPhone or iPad with Face ID
- Latest Apple Store app
First update, the Apple Store app from the App Store, if you haven’t already.
Open up the pre-orders page and scan the face to determine the size of the appropriate Light Seal and headband to get a precise fit. First, you need to open the camera app on your iPhone or iPad and point toward a picture shown on the order page under the measurement steps.
Following a setup, you can choose to get ZEISS for visual adjustments. It comes in two versions – $99 for Readers and $149 for Prescription. These inserts are designed for people who require vision correction.
There are three storage versions in total:
The base storage version with 256GB memory comes at $3,499, the 512GB storage version comes at $3,699, and the 1TB version is priced at $3,899. Apple is also financing these variant switch Apple Card monthly installments with 0% APR.
Also, the AppleCare+ coverage for this new Apple Vision Pro is tagged at $499 or $24.99 per month.
