Swedish EV company Polestar delivered 12,800 cars in Q4 2023

Polestar Automotive has announced its fourth quarter (Q4) 2023 delivery figures and shared a date to public its entire year business.

The Swedish electric vehicle (EV) maker brand sold 12,800 cars in Q4 2023 including 880 Polestar 4 sales in China. This figure could help the company to reach approx—54,600, which may be a 6% growth compared to 2022.

“Polestar 4 has been very well received in China and ramping up production was an important milestone for us. Sales of our SUV coupé will start in Europe and Australia in the coming weeks. With the first deliveries of Polestar 3 expected in the summer, our shift from being a one to three-car company positions us for a transformative and exciting 2024.” said Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO.

To expand its offerings, Polestar will launch up to five EV models by 2026. In 2019, Polestar introduced the Polestar 2 electric performance fastback.

The Polestar 3 electric SUV launched in 2022, followed by the Polestar 4 SUV Coupe in phases through 2023 and 2024. An electric four-door GT Polestar 5 and Polestar 6 electric roadster are scheduled to launch later.

Full Year Report:

Polestar confirmed that its preliminary unaudited financial and operational results for the entire year 2023 will be published on Thursday, February 29, 2024, before the market opens in New York.

Furthermore, the EV firm will hold a live audio webcast at 8:00 US Eastern Time (14:00 Central European Time) on the same day.
