Apple will start pre-orders of its ultra-expensive spatial computer dubbed Vision Pro on January 19 and some new details have now revealed the pre-order procedure.

According to the email sent by Apple to U.S. customers, the company is sharing some tips on pre-ordering the Vision Pro as well as important requirements.

The process requires a face ID-enabled iPhone or iPad device.

During the pre-order, the customer will need to scan the face with Face ID to help determine the right size Light Seal and headbands for a suitable fit.

It also requires an updated Apple app and the latest version of this application was released on January 11. Users can grab it from the App Store (if not already).

Vision Correction:

Apple also provides requirements for customers with vision correction who need to upload a prescription to get a supported lens correction with Vision Pro.

To do so, Apple has partnered with ZEISS, a German manufacturer of optical systems and optoelectronics. The ZEISS will make optical inserts with a prescription or as readers that magnetically attach to Vision Pro.

During the order, Apple will ask a few questions regarding the optical inserts, if a customer needs vision correction accommodation, then the customer has to upload a valid unexpired prescription from a U.S. eye-care professional after checkout.
