Tesla has launched the Upgraded Tesla Model 3 in North America and here are the features that are new in this EV compared to the past model.
The new model brings 341 miles of EPA range in the long-range model and there are new changes made to the design to support maximum aerodynamics.
Tesla has refined and related the ride quality with a combination of a stiffer body and updated suspension tuning.
The upgraded Tesla Model 3 brings two new colors – Ultra Red and Stealth Grey. The colors also provide different appearance based on the viewing and light angles.
Inside the vehicle, the automaker has improved the interior materials, enabled ventilated seas, and also provided customizable ambient lighting.
There’s now a rear infotainment system with a separate control system for passengers with climate control.
Meanwhile, the center touch screen feels bigger with sliced corner bezels and provides a wide view of the content. The display is brighter than the previous version and Tesla says it’s more responsive for user interactions.
The upgraded Tesla Model brings up to 17 speakers along with dual subwoofers and dual amplifiers. It supports charging up to two phones wirelessly simultaneously.
It has 360-degree acoustic glass to provide a calm experience with excellent soundproofing and it’s UV rays protected.
The rear-wheel drive version comes with 272 miles standard EPA range, 0-60mph acceleration in 5.8 seconds. The vehicle weighs 3891 lbs, has 24 cu ft cargo, 18″ or 19″ wheel size, and 5 seats.
The model comes with a 15-inch main and 8-inch rear touchscreen. It can refill 175 miles in 15 minutes with a Tesla supercharger.
The Long Range Upgraded Tesla Model 3 brings 341 miles of EPA range with 0-60mph acceleration in 4.2 seconds using the dual motor all-wheel drive. The Long Range Tesla Model 3 weighs 4030 lbs.
