Google at CES 2024 announced new Android Auto features for electric vehicles (EVs) that will allow you to view battery details while using its navigation capabilities.

With new additions, EVs compatible with Android Auto can share real-time battery information with Google Maps. It will allow users to check an estimated battery capacity that will remain at ETA (estimated time of arrival).

Throughout the route, Android Auto will suggest available charging stations and recommended charge times at each stop.

EV routing for Android Auto is coming first to Ford March-E and F-150 Lighting via an over-the-air (OTA) software update later this year.
