Mullen unveils FIVE RS EV crossover with 1,000HP, 100kWh battery pack
At CES 2024 in Las Vegas, Electric Vehicle (EV) maker Mullen unveiled its new flagship EV crossover Mullen FIVE RS. This is a new sporty and stylish EV with new features and capabilities.
The vehicle expands to 193′ in length, 80′ in width, and 64′ in height. The wheelbase is 116′ and the curb weight is 5070 lbs (2299kg), while the ground clearance is 6.7′. The vehicle can house 4 people including the driver.
Mullen Five RS comes with All-Wheel Drive (AWD) including 2 PMAC motors with a peak power of over 1000 horsepower and 850 ft-lbs peak vehicle torque.
It could deliver a max motor RPM of 12000 RPM, 2 sequential transmissions, and 2 gears.
The Mullen Five RS could gear up over 200 miles per hour at top speed and take about 2 seconds to accelerate 0-60MPH. Meanwhile, the break distance to slow down from 100 to 0 KPH is less than 110 feet.

The front brake has 6 caliper pistons and 2 pieces of 400mm carbon ceramic rotor. The rear brakes have 4 pistons and 2 pieces of 370mm carbon ceramic rotors.
These brakes are paid with high-performance wheels and a 21’/22′ tire package.
This EV packs a 100kwh battery capacity with up to 300 miles targeted range. It could recharge 0-100% in 11.5 hours with level 2 charging and 0-80% in 35 minutes.
Mullen says that this new EV is packed with new PERSONA AI which provides new AI capabilities as well as a security system such as facial recognition.
Furthermore, the Mullen Five RS is announced with Race-Track Mode to adjust the throttle map, powertrain, battery cooling, damper, and steering feel drive settings.

Mullen FIVE RS is available for reservations with $500 refundable directly through the official Mullen website in the U.S. Following a reservation confirmation from the car maker, customers can begin customization and choose the ordering option for the Mullen FIVE RS EV.
