On January 10, 2024, Honda announced the new Honda 0 Series, a new electric vehicle (EV) lineup for global customers that will launch in 2026.

The lineup consists of two models including “Saloon” and “Space-Hub”, demonstrated at CES 2024 in Las Vegas Nevada. This new EV series also brings a brand new Honda branding “H” mark that will represent the next generation of Honda EVs.

Honda says the name of this EV series suggests its work in development from scratch. It also reflects Honda’s shift of policies around various environmental and production-related goals.

Yet, the new EV concept aims at three development approaches, that’s what Honda calls it, we could see them as features or what these 0 series EVs have to offer apart from other Honda Electrified models.

  • Thin: The design has low vehicle height and better aerodynamic performance by utilizing a thin dedicated EV platform to create a low floor height.
  • Light: The car would provide a light driving experience and better efficiency in performance.
  • Wise: There will be more AI-powered features coming with this new Honda 0 Series EV franchise.

That sums up the new Honda 0 Series backend functionality and offerings. However, the aesthetics and the outlook of the two new concept models are worthy of exploration.

Honda has officially announced that the first model of the Honda 0 SEries will launch globally in 2026. The initial markets will be North America, followed by Japan, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and South Africa.
