FCA US has released its 2023 vehicle sales performance including fourth-quarter sales of 343,552 vehicles and 1.5 million overall vehicle sales throughout the year. However, the company declined 1% in the last quarter.

So, these numbers are accounted for by all of the sub-brands of the FCA group and there are some figures published about plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) too.

In 2023, FCA reports that its PHEV sales in the U.S. increased by 124% year over year compared to a year earlier. This growth is achieved by Jeep Wrangler 4xe, Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, Dodge Hornet R/T, and Alfa Romeo Tonale.

Coming to the quarterly sales, FCA says its quarterly PHEV sales hiked 118% compared to the fourth quarter of 2022.

Meanwhile, Stellantis is aiming for 50% passenger-car and light-duty truck battery-electric vehicles (BEV) sales mix in the U.S. by 2030.

“Our electrified offerings, which included the launch of Dodge Hornet R/T and Alfa Romeo Tonale in 2023, will continue to expand with our first BEVs introduced to the North American market this year,” said U.S. Head of Sales Jeff Kommor.
