Check the top 10 most used EVs in the US for 2023

Tesla has once again won the race in the most used electric vehicles (EVs) race in the U.S. including the year 2023. The used car continues to rise in the tally and creating more numbers in the marketplace.

According to the data shared by iseecars, the Tesla Model 3 ranked first with 34.9% used cars market, which is reduced from 40% a year earlier.

Tesla Model Y came in second place with 11.9% market share in the past year, an increase from 10.3% in 2022. There are two new competitors for the third and fourth place replacing Tesla Model S and X from third and fourth place.

Making their way to the charts, the Chevrolet Bolt EV and Nissan LEAF are the new 3rd and 4th ranked electric vehicles with 6.9% and 6.2% most used EVs market share.

In 2022, both of these EVs ranked 6th and 5th places respectively, and had 6.2% and 6.7% market shares as well.

Tesla Model S and Model X have been reduced in market size in 2023 compared to a year earlier. Therefore, these two EVs are now ranked 5th and 6th place in the most used EVs ranking in the U.S. with 5.6% and 5.5% market share. Model S and X also reduced from 9.8% and 7.7% shares in 2022.

Ford Mustang Mach-E ranks 8th with 4.6%, Audi e-tron has 2.9% and 2.4% shares for Porsche Taycan. Volkswagen ID.4 has the 10th rank with a 2.2% market share.

The surface of electric vehicles continues to change as more new EV options are allowing customers to choose based on their requirements and price category.
