Fisker on Thursday announced a 100 new dealer partnership model in North America and Europe to increase its sales presence in the regions for electric vehicles (EVs).

This new dealer partnership model combines the goal of offering customers pricing on Fisker vehicles while also providing dealer partners with larger market territories.

However, Fisker will continue to offer direct sales alongside on-sales and dealerships in Europe.

Fisker confirmed that it has been in discussions with numerous potential dealers since late November 2023.

The carmaker is taking this new approach to expand its sales, delivery, and test drive network. Fisker said its first dealers will start receiving vehicles by the end of the first quarter.

The company also commits that all of its dealers will work in sync when the company launches high-volume vehicles shortly.

“Our business model intends to add as many as 50 dealer partners in the US and Canada and a similar number of dealer locations in Europe this year. In keeping with our asset-light strategy, I expect the Dealer Partnership model should enable Fisker to expand its sales and delivery network at a faster pace,” said Henrik Fisker, Chairman and CEO of Fisker.

Last month, Fisker released its 2023 delivery report including 10,142 Fisker Oceans produced throughout the year. Interestingly, the company sold 4,700 of these only between Q3 and Q4 of the year with over 300% increase.
