EV maker VinFast signs five dealers across four US states

Electric Vehicle (EV) maker VinFast today announced an official agreement signing with five dealers in the U.S. to sell its vehicles.

The Vietnamese EV company has signed these dealers across four states including Leith VinFast (Raleigh, North Carolina), Smith Haven VinFast (St. James, New York), Principle VinFast Grapevine (Grapevine, Texas), Hiley VinFast of Fort Worth (Fort Worth, Texas), and VinFast Wichita (Wichita, Kansas).

Under the plan, these five dealers will sell VinFast VF 8 all-electric SUVs. As an expansion, the dealers will also list VF 6, VF 7, and VF 9 models after their launch in the U.S.

VinFast has confirmed that customers who purchase or lease a VinFast electric vehicle will get VinFast’s aftersales services including 10-year or 1,25,000-mile warranty for the vehicle and 10-year unlimited mileage for the battery under non-commercial use.

“This is an important step affirming VinFast’s commitment to expanding its retail sales network and shortening the time to deliver our products to market. Collaboration with dealers allows VinFast to quickly bring US customers high-quality electric vehicles, good prices, and excellent aftersales policies, further promoting our mission of a sustainable future for all,” said Tran Mai Hoa, Deputy CEO of Global Sales and Marketing at VinFast.

VinFast also planned to build a factory in North Carolina with an announced investment of $4 billion. This factory has a production capacity of 150,000 vehicles a year and it will create 7,500 jobs in the state.
