Apple reportedly planning new retail stores near Los Angeles, Toronto, and Atlanta
Apple may soon open new retail stores in the Los Angeles, Toronto, and Atlanta areas, revealing a new report.
According to Macrumors, Apple is preparing to inaugurate a new store at the Del Amo Fashion Center shopping mall in Torrance, California. This information has been revealed in building permits filed with the city in October. Torrance is located in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County.
Such insights are also shared by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who said that Apple could open a new store in March 2024 citing an internal document for retail chain expansion. Yet, an official time and date has not been announced.
Apple may also relocate its store at the Square One shopping mall in Mississauga, Ontario, west of Toronto Canada.
Meanwhile, the iPhone maker has already decided to permanently close its Infinite Loop store in Cupertino, California, starting January 20, 2024. With that being said, the Royal Hawaiian store in Honolulu will also meet the same fate on the same day.
However, Apple said that employees working at these locations will be given alternative opportunities to keep on working for the company.
