McClinton Chevrolet installs first DC fast charger in Wood County
McClinton Chevrolet has installed a new DC fast charger for electric vehicle (EV) and it’s first from the dealership in Wood County.
the company has installed a 60 kW charger that could recharge EVs equipped with DC fast charging on a Level 1 or Level 2 charger at home. Within an estimate, the DC fast charger could refill 80% capacity in under 30 minutes.
The charger has already been in action for months now and is accessible for Ford Mustang Mach-E, Lighting, Rivians, Polestars, Audi e-Trons, and a few Mercedes EVs.
That’s not it, the CCS connector allows the Tesla model to charge the car.
According to Jon Corra, Marketing director at McClinton, the station will charge 45 cents per kilowatt hour. With an estimation, the 80% capacity would refill at $40 based on the level of battery depletion.
