Nissan to export China-made EVs to the global market
Nissan Motor is looking to sell China-made electric vehicles (EVs) in the global market after the EV maker came up with a deal with China’s top university to research electric vehicles.
The automaker is considering exporting the line-up of existing internal combustion engine vehicles and upcoming full electric and plug-in hybrid cars manufactured and developed in China to overseas markets.
Nissan is joining foreign brands including Tesla, BMW, and Ford to expand China-made cars to take benefit from China’s low manufacturing costs and high utilization of their factories.
