X today announced the rollout of Grok AI for all of the Premium+ plan subscribers in the U.S. This announcement comes as the bot is still in its early phase of development.

If you are a Premium+ user make sure to look in the side menu to explore Grok via that big slash button. X also confirmed that the feature will be available on mobile devices including iPhones and Android. You will need a new app update via Play Store and App Store for Android and iOS software respectively.

Unlike web users, X for mobile devices could also relocate the Grok button on the bottom bar for fast access.

Grok is a new large language model (LLM) designed and developed by Elon Musk’s AI venture xAI. This new generative AI chatbot has capabilities similar to the current most popular ChatGPT by OpenAI.

However, xAI labeled Grok as a more sense of humor chatbot than all of its substitutes. Following its initial announcement in early November, Grok appeared under beta test for a few users who have passed the waitlist program in the U.S.

By the time of its launch, Grok had only two months of training. As of today, this generative AI bot has collected a month of feedback under early access.

Grok heavily relied on X social media site and it’s now integrated into the platform as a core part of its monthly Premium+ subscription tier, which costs $16 monthly on the web version. Other than that users can get some discounts on the annual pricing. Still, these prices are different on Android and iOS due to the developer charges.

How to Use:

Open X on the web or mobile. Navigate to the side menu and find a solid square icon with a slash. This will open Grok on the screen with a prompt box at the bottom and the conversation above.
