Event:
A few weeks ago, Tesla started circulating Cybertruck delivery event invitations. However, the carmaker is only allowing selected people to join this mega conference.
Many of the people registered their disagreement with this decision as they also wanted to see the show in person.
Soon after, Martin Veicha, VP of Investor Relations at Tesla addressed these concerns from the Tesla community. He said that the limited invitation is related to the housing issues of the attendees at the headquarters in Texas.
Despite limited invites, each of the invitation holders is allowed to bring an additional person to the event.
Earlier today, Tesla distributed the event tickets for the attendees including the address, transportation, event agenda, and notes about the entrance to the building premises.
Cybertruck:
Tesla unveiled this large-size electric pickup truck in November 2019 but the unique stainless-steel design has brought some challenges for the EV maker.
Aside from the looks, production of the new vehicle is another important hurdle that Tesla CEO, Elon Musk acknowledged himself. Even after four years, Tesla needs to resolve scale production in order to fulfill Cybertruck’s market demand, which could grow next year.
As compared to the first under-development model, the current design is more polished and looks very functional. To generate hype among customers, Tesla has been drifting this new Truck in public and in the wild for the past few months.
Tomorrow, Tesla will officially begin selling Cybertruck for the customers and conclude this long-standing wait for the arrival of this new large electric vehicle.
