Tesla China announces $1100 insurance subsidy on Model 3 and Y but increased prices
Tesla announced a limited-time low-interest financial policy for all S3XY models with a 3-year/5-year annual rate of 2.75%. This a limited-time offer from November 28 to December 31.
Tesla Model 3 and Model Y rear-wheel drive version now has a limited-time insurance subsidy of 8,000 yuan (over $1100 USD) and the post-subsidy prices are 253,400 yuan and 258,400 yuan respectively.
At the same time, the entire Y series models are entitled to a limited-time low-interest financial policy of up to 11,500 yuan. On the other hand, the Model 3 series now has a low-interest policy of up to 9,400 yuan.
If any of the customers buy a new Model Y/S/X with a referral code, the buyer will get a 1750 yuan reward and a 90-day EAP trial. Meanwhile, the referer will get 7000 yuan points.
New Price Increase:
Alongside the new 8,000 yuan subsidy, Tesla Chiina also increased the price of the Model Y long-range version by 2,000 yuan, leading the price to 306,400 yuan. As of today, Tesla has raised the prices for Model and Y at least four times.

- Model 3 Rear-wheel drive version priced at 261,400 yuan
- Model 3 Long-range version priced at 297,400 yuan
- Model Y Rear-wheel drive version priced at 266,400 yuan
- Model Y All-wheel drive long-range version 306,400 yuan
- Model Y’s High-performance version now priced at 363,900 yuan
