Tesla tags price hike on Model 3 and Model Y in China

Tesla on Thursday announced a price hike on Model 3 and Model Y long-range vehicles in China. This new price came into action as of November 9, 2023.

Specifically, Tesla added a price increase for Model 3 versions by 1,500 yuan ($206), as mentioned on its website and micro-blogging site, Weibo.

Ahead of this hike, Tesla sales representatives in China have been teasing upcoming prize changes and urging customers to buy these cars ahead of the prize change.

Back in May, Tesla increased the prices of Model 3 and Model Y in China. The model 3 cost 231,900 yuan, raised from 229,900 yuan. Meanwhile, the Model Y is also 2,000 yuan higher at 263,900 yuan. At that time, Model 3 and Model Y also added $250 in both models.
