Grok LLM chatbot is now official and xAI and Tesla CEO, Elon Musk may choose to integrate this new AI-powered program natively in new electric cars.

This speculation may be related to the recent comment made by Musk about in-vehicle computing power. Musk wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Tesla vehicles are able to run AI models and the company will increase computing power even further in the near future.

Announced on Sunday, November 4th, Grok is inspired by the Hitchhiker’s Guide, therefore, the chatbot transpires to be humourous based on the question.

According to the official announcement, Grok is underway in development with continuous improvement + training. All of its real-time information is derived from Musk’s X social media.

Grok chatbot is based on xAI’s Grok-1 AI engine, which provides all of the processing from the background. It has 70 billion parameters as compared to 33 billion parameters in Grok-0, a prototype, which xAI designed initially to base the Grok-1 system.
